The Vision

To be a proactive church, consistently

working to build God’s Kingdom!

The Mission

Spreading God’s word through

Holiness, Service, and Love.

Church Motto

Let’s Go Higher in the Lord!

The Pastor’s Vision

“I will stand upon my watch, and set myself upon the tower, and will watch to see what he will say unto me, and what I shall answer when I am reproved. And the LORD answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, so he may run that reads it. For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarries, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not delay.” ~Habakkuk 2:1-3

My vision as Pastor of Solid Rock United Holy Church of America       (Saint Pauls, NC), is to lead God’s people in a manner that brings him glory through committed service. I will educate, instruct, encourage, inspire, and edify those added to the church in all the teachings of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

The Solid Rock Holy Church shall unify and work together as a “family,” to accomplish the will of God. Solid Rock Holy Church shall delight in the Lord and seek at all times to grow and mature through wisdom, love, diligence and faith in God.

It is my goal that Solid Rock Holy Church be refereed to as “God’s church,” and the church grows in grace, statue, and increases in physical membership. We the members of Solid Rock Holy Church shall be servants of God, and yield at all times to doing the Lord’s Holy will.

We; as the church, shall “go higher in the Lord!” The Pastor and members will work collaboratively to achieve success in the church as well as the community, sub district (Cape Fear), and district (Southern District Convocation) at large.

Let us therefore, as many as be perfect, be thus minded: and if in any thing ye be otherwise minded, God shall reveal even this unto you. Nevertheless, whereto we have already attained, let us walk by the same rule, let us mind the same thing.”~Philippians 3:15-16

Together Letting Our Light Shine

"Solid Rock United Holy Church"

Saint Pauls, North Carolina

Matthew 5:14-16 "Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.  Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house.  Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven!"

You should not join a church to see what you can get out of it. You should  join a church to sacrifice for the mission of God. Now please note that all churches should be clear about how they plan to accomplish this mission.

At Solid Rock Holy Church, these expectations will be made clear upfront.  For we know that the hand of God is present and “when you have a zeal for God, … When your anointing is fresh, … and, your light is shinning bright, then you can operate in  The Five Expectations for a “Healthy” Solid Rock Church Family (adapted from T.B.C.C.)!

Above all, you must live as citizens of heaven, conducting yourselves in a manner worthy of the Good News about Christ. Then, whether I come and see you again or only hear about you, I will know that you are standing side by side, fighting together for the faith, which is the Good News.

Leviticus 27:30

One tenth of the produce of the land, whether grain from the fields or fruit from the trees, belongs to the Lord and must be set apart to him as holy.

Number 5:  We Solid Rock Holy Church, will serve the needs of others who are less fortunate and disenfranchised in our communities.-

Food and medication for the spirit

Proverbs 14:31 Those who oppress the poor insult their Maker, but helping the poor honors him.

Matthew 25:42-45

For I was hungry, and you didn’t feed me. I was thirsty, and you didn’t give me a drink.  I was a stranger, and you didn’t invite me into your home. I was naked, and you didn’t give me clothing. I was sick and in prison, and you didn’t visit me.’  “Then they will reply, ‘Lord, when did we ever see you hungry or thirsty or a stranger or naked or sick or in prison, and not help you?’ “And he will answer, ‘I tell you the truth, when you refused to help the least of these my brothers and sisters, you were refusing to help me.’

When we walk in these Five Expectations, Solid Rock United Holy Church, becomes an increasingly bright, steadfast, physcially, financially, and spiritually “HEALTHY” church family!
